Material . . .

Ok I think I might be slightly obsessed with this . . . my third post of the day!
Anyway, I've been to the material shop and chosen my material, thank god my mum came with me to help me decide! Otherwise I would have been in there for hours!!
I've chosen a floral material for the main body of the corset which I feel has quite vintage look to it and the pale pink is going to be used for the lining and also for the ruffles along the top. The bright pink ribbon is going to be us
ed with some eyelets to lace up the back of the corset.

My purchases from Fabric Land . . .

I'm hoping that once my corset is finished it will look good enough for me to wear as a summer top with some jeans and a cardi but we'll see . . .

Corset Designs

These two drawings are from my designs for my corset. My pattern came through in the post today and I've decided that I'm going to do the first design with the ruffles. I'm really looking forward to starting this project and am off to get some fabric this afternoon! :D

Update

Hello, I know I never ever update my blog and to be honest with you I completely forgot that I even had one!
I always go on my bestfriends blog and love to see what she gets up to and it inspired me to start doing mine again. I was never really a successful 'fashion blogger' so, I've decided to change it to just an ordinary blog so that I can put anything and everything on here.

So, heres what's going on in my life at the moment . . . I am in my first year of sixth form and am really enjoying it so far. I'm doing four subjects but my favourite is deffinately textiles!
At the minute I'm having to make a corset! Yes a corset! I don't know how on earth I am going to be able to make it, but I'm going to try my best! I thought I'd post the different stages of my corset on here so that you can see my progress.
I'm also hoping to sell some of my junk on ebay so that it can go towards me getting a new camera so hopefully when I get a new one I can upload some new photos! :)

Seeing Red

Of course the next big thing is what nail varnish to wear.
Summers here so you'd better dig out your flip flops . . . and give your feet some beauty therapy.
The colour to be wearing on you feet this season is RED!
And personally I think it's a great colour and I've been wearing it on my toes already. It's looks fresh, bright and goes with almost anything.

It's the colour of the summer!

Pictures

I am going to put some pictures on here but I haven't worked out how to do it yet!!!
Ok so I better get on with my Fashion talk.
So here we go . . .

This season my favorite trend is Nautical! I don't know why I like it so much, but I do!
It's all about anchors and stripes - and I think it looks Nauticool!! I think it's a great trend for the summer.

Another trend that I'm quite into is Grecian - I love all the girly floaty dresses and the fab gladiator sandals and piled up bangles!

I also love that everyones wearing their hair in plaits or twisty up do's.
I'm quite jealousy really because my hairs in a short bob so it's a bit difficult for me to wear it like that. . . I'm going to try my best though!!

My 1st Post

Hello!
This is my 1st post so I apologise if it's not very good!
Ok,a little bit about me . . . . . well as you can tell from the name of my blog I love fashion, clothes, shopping anything like that and when I leave school I'm hoping to go to Uni and get a fashion degree.
I think I might like to be a Fashion Buyer but I'm not really sure. I'd love to be a designer but . . . I'm not that good at drawing or making clothes but practice make perfect so I might have a go.
I'm only 15 so I've got a long time to practice!
